Seorang kanak-kanak lelaki berusia enam tahun yang menderita akibat tumor otak, mendapat perhatian DYMM Sultan dan Permaisuri Johor.
Tuanku Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar dan Tuanku Raja Zarith Sofiah Binti Almarhum Sultan Idris Shah berkenan menghulurkan bantuan.
Kisah kanak-kanak itu yang di kesan mengidap penyakit berkenaan sejak empat tahun lalu disiarkan menerusi laporan dalam talian sebuah akhbar tempatan semalam (31 Disember).
Menurut laporan berita itu, Cheong Shuan Fung kini sedang menerima rawatan di Hospital Sultan Ismail (HSI), Johor Bahru.
Tuanku Raja Zarith Sofiah bertitah, bantuan akan dihulurkan sebagaimana dengan nasihat daripada doktor.
"Tuanku Sultan Ibrahim dan saya bersedia untuk membantu kanak-kanak kecil. Bantuan akan dihulurkan, sebagaimana dengan nasihat daripada pihak doktor," titah Baginda kepada Royal Press Office hari ini.

SULTAN AND PERMAISURI REACH OUT TO HELP BOY WITH BRAIN TUMOUR
The story of six-year-old Cheong Shuan Fong, who is currently suffering from a brain tumour has gotten the attention of the Sultan and Permaisuri of Johor.
Their Majesties Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar and Raja Zarith Sofiah Binti Almarhum Sultan Idris Shah are prepared to provide aid through the Tunku Laksamana Johor Cancer Foundation (TLJCF) to help ease his family's burden.
"Upon learning of the boy's plight in the media, Tuanku Sultan and I were very touched, and are prepared to help according to the doctor's advice," said Raja Zarith Sofiah to the Royal Press Office today.
Shuan Fung, who was diagnosed with a brain tumour at the age of two, needs financial aid to undergo chemotherapy.
His father, Cheong Wooi Hoong was quoted by The Star as saying his son - who is currently being treated at Hospital Sultan Ismail - is now blind and that he is really worried by the boy's lack of appetite.
